Moreover, excellence is the process of chiseling the potential within our worthy pursuits into a more perfect state through vision, dedication, and unwavering determination.

Congratulations to Tara Ransbury, APS VP Finance and Strategy

For her dedicated service, commitment, and pursuit of excellence, APS has awarded Tara Ransbury, APS Vice President of Finance and Strategy, the prestigious Circle of Excellence Award. Tara's leadership, resilience, and ability to overcome and create opportunities out of challenges have markedly benefited APS's ability to Help Pilots Bring Everyone Home Safely.

For many years, and further highlighted throughout the remarkable challenges faced due to the global COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Tara has consistently aligned her exemplary performance with APS Core Values in a wide diversity of accomplishments, duties, and responsibilities. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Leading the enormous $11 million project management effort of planning, development, and construction of two commercial hangar/office developments that include the all-new 2021 APS Headquarters facilities at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (KIWA) in Mesa, AZ,

• Leadership of an APS Annual Operating Priority focusing on Systems and Processes that led to identifying key software platforms to help structure and systematize all current and future APS business workflows and technology integrations,

• Leadership of the APS finance department combined with rapid mitigation responses to COVID 19 business impacts that allowed uninterrupted pay and on-going employment for all APS team members, and

• Doing all of the above while continuing to manage and oversee normal HR and legal functions, co-leading the negotiation of major contracts and overseeing APS compliance on FAA mandates and audits.
